Great white Butterfly

We looked in the school garden this morning. To our horror (and excitement) we found some great white butterfly caterpillars. Mrs T phoned the Ministry for Primary Industries hotline (0800 80 99 66) and reported our find. Will and Jo came this afternoon and confirmed that they are these pesky butterflies that arrived in Nelson in 2010. If you find any on your brassicas please phone the hotline number.

The Swimming Pool Closes

It was  sad  that  we stopped  swimming  today. I enjoyed it a bit but it was freezing! I know my swimming has got better because I was fast in the school races.
